Dr. Katrina Swope was born and raised in Southeast Texas in an agricultural aviation and commercial cattle operation, where a deep appreciation for livestock, animal care, and agriculture began early. After earning her undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University, she completed veterinary school at the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Swope enjoys working with all species but especially values herd health and beef cattle production medicine, solving complex small animal internal medicine cases, and providing practical equine preventive care and maintenance. She is passionate about helping both producers and pet owners through thoughtful, practical care tailored to each individual animal and operation. When she is not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dylan, and their dogs. Her corgi, Haze—faithfully accompanies her to the clinic each day and has become a familiar face to clients and staff alike.
